I'm a React specialist with 10+ years of proven experience in product and enterprise environments. I'm pretty good with JavaScript, CSS, semantic HTML and user experience design with a strong background in user interface design. I love process optimization, providing mentorship and living a positive working culture. I am a native speaker of both German and English.

Continuation of a previous project. Building several complete full stack applications for a local agricultural coop, consulting them on digitizing large areas of their business and processes. This included mainly the technical implementation but also consulted heavily on UX and UI design.

UX and Development of a functional prototype of core features for a newly founded startup. Purpose of the prototype was to validate technical approaches using a proof-of-concept implementation and “handshake” with an AI-powered backend.

Led one of their client projects as lead frontend engineer, building an app as an interface for tracking health metrics using a smart ring and other measuring devices. Developed a scalable design system using Storybook and developed several components and screens in React Native, consulted and supported other developers on implementation specifics and strategies.

Designed and developed experiments for several KPIs as part of a growth hacking team. Spearheaded the development of a toolkit for standardizing organization-wide split testing. Contributed to the independent team developing a company wide design system.

Built a product configurator for landing pages using VueJS.

Relaunched internet presence using React, Typescript and WordPress

Developed reusable components and features including design implementation, extending the API and deployment for a multi-tenant website focusing on the clients most popular TV show formats. Helped the client establish a design system to better scale design across it’s 25+ tennants.

Lead a team of developers in building a new business unit focused on agile software engineering. Negotiated, planned and executed projects for a variety of local clients and also international brands like Miele. Tasks included coaching teams on best practices, responsibility for maintaining quality code, making sure projects are completed within time and on budget, managing and distributing tasks and assignments as well as coaching the team on personal and career development.

Contributed to several products focused around bringing the travel industry to the digital age leveraging state of the art tools and tech.

Design and development of websites, created a layout engine for faster and less error-prone HTML newsletters.

Taught the basics of web development to students whoe were looking to enter the industry. Lessons covered structuring HTML, applying styles using CSS. Prepared and executed the lessons.

Helped organize meetups and workshops at different sponsor locations. Supported on-site as well as with preparations before events.

Facilitaded on day mini design sprints (design jams). The aim of these was to design, prototype and test an idea with real users within just one day. Supported the organizers and attendees on the day of with questions to design and prototyping methods. Also helped prepare user research and administrative duties before the events.
